Original Music

This is a new song I have recently been working on. It's called "On My Mind" and is still unfinished, but I decided to record a basic version from home of it. For my solo original projects, I am leaning a little more towards the Adult Contemporary / Easy Listening / Folk genres more recently, with a (hopefully) more serious style of lyricism. Should all things go to plan, this may be one of the tracks that makes it into the studio for a full arrangement. I opted to only put down the most essential elements into this recording. If this gets fully arranged, I will be aiming for an orchestral arrangement not dissimilar to that of a Gordon Lightfoot or Katie Melua track. But who knows what the end product will be. Anyway, thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy this short recording — Ad.
